Frequently Asked Questions
Ask Us Anything
What is the difference between an accountant and a bookkeeper?
Bookkeepers complete the ongoing entry of your financial transactions and account reconciliations. Accountants typically check over your books and assist you with filing your taxes.
Do I still need a bookkeeper if I have an accountant?
YES! Your accountant should be the fresh set of eyes reviewing your books prior to filing yearly/quarterly taxes. Your virtual bookkeeper regularly inspects and maintains your books to ensure accuracy down to the cent.
Shouldn’t I have an in-person bookkeeper?
Current technology allows virtual bookkeepers to access your books from anywhere with your permission. Hiring virtually may also reduce monthly costs.
Which accounting software do you use?
I am a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. QuickBooks is one of the most widely used accounting software used in the US and provides a secure way to manage records.
If I have multiple businesses, can I hire you?
Yes. Through QuickBooks Online I can easily manage multiple business’ books.
Can you help me with invoicing customers?
Yes. I can create invoices, track accounts receivable, and even send invoices to your customers.
Do you provide full service?
I provide a range of bookkeeping services from full clean ups to monthly maintenance, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and more.
How will we communicate and what can I expect for response times?
I am available virtually. I utilize several modes of technology to stay in contact with my clients. I am happy to utilize whichever is your preferred mode of contact – video calls, texting, phone or email.
I respond to clients within 48 business hours via phone/text/email.
