The third and final of the 3 main Financial Statements is your Statement of Cash Flows, which tells you where your money is coming from and where it’s going. It shows your Net Income and any adjustments made to the Net Income for money you owe or are owed, etc.
It also breaks your transactions down into 3 types:
1. Operating Activities – ex. Buying office supplies
2. Financing Activities – ex. Money that has been borrowed
3. Investing Activities – ex. Purchasing an Asset such as equipment
Finally, you’ll see what your increase in cash was (if there was one), and your cash at the end of the date range you selected.
